Bogor 2023 : One Day Trip to Nicole's River Park

There was a friend of mine shared about this open trip, it's an open trip by Backpacker Jakarta. Actually I just heard about this community so I thought why not joining this trip, in addition to catch up with an old friend. The meeting point was at Depok Baru Station at 7AM, we will go there by renting a cab from the station. So I took an online motor taxi to go to the meeting point.

I remember there was something wrong with the first car so they changed the car. It took some time to solve the problem, after that we headed to Nicole's River Park in Bogor. I never heard about this park before, actually I just follow my friend haha plus I like going to a new place and it's just for one day trip. The park was just opened not long ago. The open trip costed Rp 308,275/person.

This park is really suitable for family, there were some cute installations there and nice spots for taking pictures with different kind of theme and ambience. I think the most memorable part was the indoor where it's sort of Under the Sea themes, the lights, interior, looks cool and also there is an aircon inside haha. I think they divide some locations with few city or country's icon such as China, Korea, Greece, etc. There are also mini zoo, so you can going around and even taking pictures with those animals.

Basically the park was quite big, they also have this castle area where you can rent costumes and taking picture in that castle area, or you can go to Japan area and rent yukata/kimono and take pictures there. Anyway before heading back to Jakarta, we went to Bakso Reog, we heard this place is well known so yeah we just want to try. Well, it's just nice going outside Jakarta even just for a day.
