943 King's Cross Harry Potter Cafe - Hongdae

We stayed at Hongdae so this morning we went to Black Pink House, we were just curious with it. Apparently it's closed already but the front part was still there and it's nice. We planned to have breakfast at 943 King's Cross Harry Potter Cafe, they open at 9.30 AM on Friday. We are Harry Potter fans so seeing the platform was made us excited. I hope I can see the one in London someday.

Getting inside the Cafe and ordered on the first floor then we explored all the floors. The decoration was nice and you can also take pictures with Harry Potter's cloak, they have the cloak with all four houses scarf, I waited for Gryffindor before taking my picture. It's quite some time to wait for the cloak so you must be patience. I had coffee and cake for my breakfast.

Ewha Korean University

I was just curious with this university because some people said the design of this university is nice so we just went there for a quick sightseeing. Around the university you will find some shops there, I also heard sometimes you can find flea market as well. We parted here for a while since I have an appointment at Myeongdong but we will meet later at MBC World.

Myeongdong - Myeongdong Kyoja

I went to Myeongdong and met my ex boss again, so we met at Lotte Department Store and had some lunch at Myeongdong Kyoja. By the time we arrived, there were lines already for this restaurant. It's pretty long but still okay, when we finally get our seat, I was so happy. This restaurant was so crowded. I ordered ramyeon and gyoja, it's called Mandu in Korea. The portion was very big but the taste was so delicious and also the Kyoja (Mandu). I think I will visit this restaurant again if I come back to Korea. Finished with our lunch, we wandered around Myeongdong and also had some coffee. Another happy moments in Korea since you can visit someone you knew.

MBC World

We bought Discover Seoul Pass already, so it's time to use this card again. Basically this card is can be used to go to some Seoul Tourist Attraction for free, the entrance ticket already included on this card, you can also use this card as T-money. There are some zones at MBC World, we only have some time to discover this place before closing. But in the good side, it's not crowded. This place is very interesting, there are so many interactive-base attractions, trying virtual fitting room, getting virtual signature from your favorite idol, experiencing to be news anchor, dancing with your favorite idol, sort of like trick n art photoshoot, recording with your idol and many more. It's such a really nice experience.

63 Building

It was raining and our next destination is 63 Building (63 Square), well known for some filming location and how tall this building is. It was quite expensive to go there but since we bought Discover Seoul Pass and going into the top is also included, so we went here. Inside this building we can see some art exhibition, 63 Art and there was also sea aquarium, Hanwha Aqua Planet 63, where we can see some fishes and even Penguin. I think that was my first time went to the top which was higher like on the 63th floor.

CGV Myeongdong Cinelibrary

It is located at Myeongdong, since we have our Discover Seoul Pass and it's limited edition one so with this pass we can also get free ticket to watch movie there. They also have small library where some K-dramas were filmed there. We watched Captain Marvel (9.30 PM), and the theatre was so small and the bench was lower comparing with the one at Jakarta. It was my first time watching movie in Korean theatre. I think there were only less than 10 peoples inside our studio. Anyway the library was very nice, I recommend you if you might want to watch a movie, you may go to this CGV. We almost couldn't go inside the library because it will close in like 5 - 10 minutes but we begged to the staff there (Ahjussi) and he was very nice and let us in for a while, he also helped us to take our picture, thank you Ahjussi! Someday I will go there again and check their books collection.

From CGV we went back to our guesthouse and not forget to buy another night snack such as Tteokpokki and Odeng, haha we ate these almost every night at Seoul. So, today's travel diary was a story of us using the Discovery Seoul Pass. We bought for 24 hours so we still have time tomorrow to use this pass before expired time. We want to use this pass in optimum way. See you on my travel diaries soon.
