Bandung 2019 - 1/2 : Weekend Getaway #gemeztrip

I think the last time we had our trip together was to Lombok, so we were thinking to go to Bandung this time and only for weekend. We rented a place via Airbnb, it was a nice apartment. Our itinerary for Bandung basically just trying new cafe and eat. So eat, eat and eat :D

Day 1 - Saturday, 6 April 2019

We took a train at 5.25 AM and will arrive at Bandung around 9 AM. The journey took around 3.5 hours. There was a little bit drama since one of our friends couldn't make it on time to hop on the train, it was 5 minutes difference from departure. So she need to buy another ticket and get on the next train, actually it's quite hard to buy train ticket to Bandung on the spot but she was lucky.

Ambrogio Patisserie

We didn't rent a car so we will just take online taxi to go anywhere at Bandung and that's really easy. While waiting for our friend who took the next train, we went here to have some breakfast. The ambiance of this place was very nice with some greens and open air. They also sell gelato, croissant etc. It was pretty crowded in that morning.

Art Deco Luxury Hotel & Residence

After having our breakfast, we went to our place to put our things and just rest for a while. It's really easy to get inside our room since the owner just gave us the door password to our room. Our room has 2 floor but we only use the first floor because we were just to lazy to go upstairs. The view was very nice with a small Jacuzzi on the balcony. We were too lazy to go out so we just ordered some food by online delivery, we ordered Batagor Kingsley, Yoghurt Cisangkuy, Seblak etc We were soo full already, too much eating.

Nara Park

There was a nice cafe nearby our place, so we walked to this cafe. It's actually like the nice park with some cafe inside the park. There are some spots that you can choose to sit and you can order from any restaurant that you want.

Sate Hadori (Hadori Satay)

This place is located inside the old terminal, it's one of our friends request. So, we just went here, this restaurant became famous since our president came to this place and it became headline. For me personally, the taste of the satay was not that good. It's kind of hard to get the online taxi so we waited for quite a while on that place.

Gormeteria

Another cafe for that day was Gormeteria, we were so full so we went there only for some cakes. The place was too crowded and we need to fill the waiting list and wait for our turn. The interior is really nice and actually I was kind of curious with their design mostly at the stairs like gate but made from flowers, so beautiful but when I went there, there was no design at all on it, maybe they took out already. We ordered some cake with various cakes so we can try one by one.

Then from Gormeteria, we went back to our apartment and we still ordered one last meal for that day, Martabak, haha all I can remember I was so full during the trip. We also tried the Jacuzzi at night, girls chats etc.
