Somehow I found myself still remember vividly those concerts that I watch especially when it's raining, I felt cold tho' during this concert.

Day 7 - Sunday, April 30, 2023

I checked out in the morning from Calistar Hotel and walk to my hostel for that night Philstay Myeongdong Boutique. Initially I wanted to go to a restaurant on my list at Myeongdong but unfortunately they were closed. I put my baggage there since I couldn't check in the morning but they let me to check in first just to verify some data. Because I told them probably I will be back around 11 PM so they will leave me the check in information on the receptionist desk at night.

I still have some time before the meeting time at Gwanghwamun area, so I thought maybe I will just go nearby my hostel. I found this Hanok Village through social media, it's also free and looks nice so I just went there to explore it. I took a bus from Myeongdong to Namsangol Hanok Village. From Bus Stop, I walked for like 5 minutes. It's really near like only took about 10 minutes from my hostel. This Hanok Village was not too crowded and it's just nice to explore around. The place was quite big to explore, probably like 1 - 2 hours. I spent some time there, it's just nice to see this beautiful village and being away from bustling city.

So, I booked this event already and it's one of my reason why I cancelled my stay at Daegu and need to find another guest house because it was fully booked when I want to extend another day at Calistar Hotel. I booked via Korea Travel Easy for Seoul Festa 2023 Opening Ceremony Kpop Concert- Bus Tour (April 30). Only foreigner can bought this ticket, USD 28 (Rp 423,315), we need to be at The Statue of King Sejong around 1.30 PM - 2 PM and joined the group with Bus, they gave the ticket on the bus. 

The concert held in Jamsil Stadium and there were so many artist for the concert. There were so many people joined this tour, there were also different agent to go with. Apparently so many events held at Gwanghwamun area, there were many booths with different kind activity and there were free goodies too, interesting!

Seoul Festa - Jamsil Stadium

So once we arrived at Jamsil Stadium, it's free time and they just told after the concert make sure to find the sign and gathered again, then we will heading back to the bus together. I was alone there, so before the concert started I need to have dinner first. I bought Kimbab and Odeng (Fish Cake), the line was sooo long. Finally when it's close to concert time, I went inside and surprisingly I can bring my water and there was no bag checking. My seat was not too far from the stage, woww, the stadium was very huge, it's like my first time to Jamsil Stadium and watching concert in this Stadium, so cool! But the bad thing was downpour, it's made me freezing due to the cold wind. I took out my rain coat and wore it like during the concert. 

I also saw some artist need to perform in the rain. I took some videos for some performances, actually I didn't know so many artist from the concert but I tried to keep enjoying it. So the line up were STAYC, ENHYPEN, IVE, iKON, ATEEZ, Oh My Girl, Kep1er, THE BOYZ, Lee Young Ji, P1Harmony, Nature, and BE'O. It's such a nice experience to have and I would like to go again if I got a chance. I still coudn't believe it that I only paid USD 28 (Rp 423,315) to watch this concert.

Apparently the shuttle bus didn't stop near Myeongdong Station but they stopped around Euljiro-1 (il) so I need to walk to my hostel which is near Myeongdong Station. I felt hungry after watching the concert so I tried to find a restaurant to eat that still opened especially on this hour (around 11 PM) and I found this place, it's nearby my hotel, called Kimgane, anyway it's really tasty and quite affordable especially around Myeongdong. I thing this restaurant will be one of my favorites, we can order through the screen and pay by our credit card, you will get the number and just wait until your number showed up on the screen to pick up your food, great!

Myeongdong - Philstay Myeongdong Boutique

So we went back to the bus since the tour also provide transportation from Concert Venue to Myeongdong or Hongdae, so I choose Myeongdong area. The concert last for around 2.5 hours from 7.30 PM. The location for my hostel is so close with Myeongdong station which is great. I booked 1 x 8-Bed Dormitory - Female Only for Rp 331,503/night. This hostel is located near the Myeongdong Station.
