Malang 2023 3/3 - Last Day in Malang

Day 4 - Sunday, June 4, 2023

We went to Soto Ayam Lombok for breakfast and Piacap Mangkok to buy souvenirs or snacks. The legend of Soto Ayam since 1955, it's famous, one of most-visit spot for tourist, celebrities even officials. It's still early but already a bit crowded when we came, we took some time to find our seats there. Anyway we also came back to Lafayette Cafe since we would like to try another cakes because the place was cute and the cakes were tempting and the price also cheap.

We actually want to try Sate Gebug but by the time we came, it was sold out. So maybe next time we will try it.

We will go back to Jakarta today by flight from Surabaya so we went to the airport in the afternoon. We booked airport pick up from our hotel in Malang to Surabaya Airport at 1 pm, IDR 150k/person. Basically it's just a regular car like Avanza/Innova and they will pick us up by request. They also provide pick up service from home too because some person were picked up from their house. We arrived at the airport around 2.30pm, it's quite fast tho'.

Having our late lunch at the airport then we catch our flight back to Jakarta, this time we flew back to Halim Perdanakusuma Airport Jakarta. I had a great time in Malang, meeting my old friend and going to Tumpak Sewu Waterfall without any preparation, that stunning waterfall and also we did some culinary as well.
