Bandung 2022 : A Fun Rafting at Pangalengan for Day Trip

My last rafting was soo fun but it's been so long, so I would love to try again and yeay, finally I had a chance to try it again, We supposed to go to Pangalengan, Bandung, last week but it was fully booked yet we went to another destination that still available. We went to meeting point, again at Plaza Semanggi next to Arya Duta, our schedule to meet was around 4 AM but got delayed and the car left around 4.45 AM. This time we already quite prepared to bring some hoodies and neck pillow.

Situ Cileunca - Rafting

The trip took around 5 hours until we arrived on the first spot for that day. Rafting supposed to be the last thing to do but our guide offered to change it as our first destination, since they told our guide that probably in the afternoon would so crowded because they have many guests. So we will do rafting first, we went to a place to rest for a while and waiting for our turn, we changed our clothes. From there we went down to get ready with the gear to do rafting, we got our life vest and helmet. For one boat, there would be 4 - 5 persons plus the guide. The rafting will take around 1.5 hours, the instructor briefed us before the rafting.

We wear all the gears before do the rafting, the track was definitely so fun and surely we also had fun during the rafting. It was my sister's first rafting and I think she also had fun. The guide also funny along the way, we had a blast. The view along the river also amazing, we spotted some tents, apparently a lot of cottage along the river. We didn't realize time flies too fast when rafting. After the rafting we went back to that place to change our clothes and lunch. The food was tasty and we had a nice lunch.

Wayang Windu

Next place was Wayang Windu, it's like a skypark with tea plantation surroundings, you can also rent ATV if you want to go around, we only had an hour to explore this are. Ohh the air was so fresh, we explored the area, took some pictures. Enjoying the view, what a marvelous view to refresh your mind and having clean air. We love it!

Rumah Pengabdi Setan

Not far from Wayang Windu, there was Rumah Pengabdi Setan, it's actually a house that was being used for a horror movie shooting, called Pengabdi Setan. I haven't watched the movie so I didn't really understand. The house setting said still look the same when the movie was aired. The movie itself was so famous and most people watched it already but I'm not a fan for horror movie. The house was kind of spooky, there were two rooms at upstairs and each of the room has someone dressed up as the character from the movie.

It's our last destination for this trip, from there we will go to Oleh-Oleh store to buy some snacks before going back to Jakarta and the traffic to Jakarta was no joke, we felt exhausted in the car. We arrived at Jakarta around 11.30 PM. For this trip we went again with IG travelbuddies_id for open trip, there were 16 persons this time. They sent us the pictures later including with rafting pictures which were really nice taken, thank you!
