"Let's always try new things and hop into new places"

at Ngobaran Beach
Day 3 - Saturday, October 29, 2022

We want to go to explore different part in Jogja and it's a bit far from the centre so we decided to rent a car with driver (Rp 550k). Now, if you want to rent a car they have different rates depend on area in Jogja that you will visit. I searched for some place that probably interesting to visit in Jogja that I never visited before.

view from our hotel, Artotel, before me move to another Hotel

Pantai Ngobaran

This was the first beach that we visited during this trip. I looked at some pictures and reviews so we decided to visit this beach. Admission Fee Rp 5k/person + Parking Fee Rp 10k. Apparently there were many photographers that will offer you to take your pictures, the price is still affordable (Rp10k/3 pictures). We took a lot of pictures in different spots, the beach is not like common beach, where you can only see the sand and water. It's quite crowded but the beach is still nice to visit. We ended up took many pictures from the photographer, they use professional camera so the result also nice. We paid like Rp 130k for all our photos.

Pantai Drini

This beach is located not far from Ngobaran, but we felt this beach was too commercial. They charge a little bit extra than previous beach, too crowded on that beach. Entrance fee is Rp 10k/person and Parking Fee Rp 20k. We bought Cilok (Rp 10k) and Rujak (Rp 10k) at some stall. You can also take some pictures from some photographer there, they asked Rp5k/picture. We paid Rp 35k for our photos there. We also had lunch there but it's a bit pricey and not so delicious lunch (Rp 95k). We didn't stay that long in this beach.

Pinus Pengger

I saw from the map this location was not that far from Drini Beach so I chose this place. The admission fee ia Rp 5k/person & car parking Rp 5k. When you enter the area, there are several photo zone, another admission Rp 2k/person. They also have standby photographer that you can take photos from them and pay for the photos that you like Rp3k/picture. We chose 2 different spots and used their service. And then we juat explore the area, maybe since we surrounded by pine trees so the weather was cool.

Heha Sky View

I tried to choose some places to visited by looking the area, so we can just go in one way to save the time. I heard this place was quite new, actually there is another Heha, near the sea and this one is located more above. I chose this place beside it's still one line comparing with other destinations for that day and we went to beaches already so we want to have different ambience. Apparently this place was so crowded, so many photo zone, lot of food and beverage stall. Admission fee (Rp 20k/person) + Parking fee (Rp 10k) to enter this place. We bought some snacks there such as Egg Chicken Toast (Rp 18k), Korean Snack (Rp 40k), Ice Coffee (Rp 20k)

We went to our hotel to check in, Adhisthana Hotel at Prawirotaman area (Rp 429,220/night) via Agoda. We asked the driver to wait while we checked in and asked him to drop us to Malioboro area. We strolled around Malioboro, took becak again and asked them to take us back to Batik Rumah Suryowijayan because we want to check again. I bought some Batik there (Rp 332k), from there we asked them take us back to Malioboro. Since we were craving with ice cream we went to Tempo Gelato at Prawirotaman by Gojek (Rp 12k), they never failed (Rp 30k/cone).

And then, we just walked around and found this little bar, Till Drop Bar, they also have live music there which was nice. We had our dinner (Rp 97k) there while enjoying some music before heading back to our hotel. Our hotel located not far from there since we were staying at Prawirotaman area and there are many cafe or restaurant in that area. Back to hotel and I am kind of curious with Mie Gacoan, so I ordered via Gofood (Rp 44k). This noodle is always crowded whenever I see it so I just want to taste it.
